36 Weeks

We are all getting pretty excited that this baby is soon to arrive. The stressor? Not having a named picked out. Nate's idea to solve this? On the day of the birth go over to Del Taco and the name of the day (they get a free meal if you have that name) is what the baby will be named. I love him so much for trying to relieve my stress about this.

Me at 34 weeks

I had my 36 week doctors visit today and everything looked good. Babies head is down so we are all set to go.

Since this is my last pregnancy, I've been trying to write a list of things I don't want to forget about being pregnant. It is such a strange and special experience that I'm extremely grateful to have experienced.

-Alien movements

-Sleeping all the time at the beginning and getting no sleep at the end

-Weird belly shapes

-All the comments from every stranger you encounter

-Only being able to sleep on your sides

-Crying at anything that you have any sort of feelings about

-Actually suppose to have a belly

-Trying to find shirts that are long enough to stay over the belly and finding pants that will actually stay up

-Falling in love with some one that you've only seen blurry pictures of

-Not being able to walk after sitting for too long

-Cravings for food that you just can't explain why

Do you have any things that you want to remember?

Kiddos

Sadie can be found in the backyard digging in the dirt, dancing while singing, dressing up, collecting rocks, screaming at everyone, looking at books.

Katelyn can be found kicking balls outside, watching for squirrels and birds, performing her very own ballet shows, reading to all that will sit down and listen, overreacting to tears about everything, playing checkers on Webkinz.
They love having their cousins close to play with. (Jared, Sadie, and Henri)
They love watching birds outside our kitchen window. At first when the birds would fly away they would say "That's okay. They'll be back. They just went to tell their friends." Now they just blame me for moving.
They love pretending. Nothing like dressing up and having a birthday picnic with food and games.

At long last, California Trip: California Adventure

This post is extremely overdue. I figured I'd put it on so then I can clean up my picture file on my computer. This is the last part of our trip at Disneyland, yes all the way back in September. These pictures come from California Adventure.

Being a toy

About to take off on the roller coaster.
This is one thing Nate really remembers as a kid.
World of Color show
Really cool how they could use lights and water to create pictures.
The Pixar Play Parade was fun to watch, plus it was really hot and they were squirting us with water. Probably not the kids favorite part though.
Boo's door
Katelyn got to dance with the High School Musical 3 kids.
Playhouse Disney was fun to see. The kids thought it was cool to see all the characters they see on TV come to life.
Katelyn splashing in the water
All in all I think this face sums up our trip to California. We had a great time as a family. We definitely want to do it again.
