Visiting Family

We were in Colorado last month. Nate had an audit trip in Denver so we went with him so the girls and I could spend some time with my family. The first couple days I stayed with my sister. We visited this fun place called Tiny Town.
We rode this fun little train around the place.

It decided to pour while we were there. We waited it out and the kids had fun dancing in the rain.

We also went and stayed with my parents. Sadie loved to help Grandma in the kitchen. She often snitched a lot, even with this bread dough they were making.

She also liked turning the mixer on and off.

Nate and I celebrated our 6th Anniversary while we were there. To celebrate that evening we went to a carnival and rode some rides and went out to Pei Wei. Earlier in the day we went with the kids to Hammond's Candy Factory. We got the idea because the 6th Anniversary traditional gift is candy, so we thought it would be fun to go to a factory.

Tooth Fairy

Katelyn's bottom two teeth have been loose for a couple months. She's been wiggling them like crazy. When we were in Colorado, we realized that one of them was like laying sideways in her mouth. She said we could pull it, so Grandma Paula gently pulled and out it came.

She was so excited for the tooth fairy to come. She got a little note and a $1 gold coin. When she woke up the next morning she was surprised at was it was because in the middle of the night she had been feeling it and was certain it was a cookie. She is such a funny girl.

The week, on Monday, she tried to pull her tooth out just like Grandma Paula did, but it wasn't quite as loose as the first one. That afternoon we were waiting in the car for Daddy and I noticed she was trying to wiggle other teeth. I asked her not to and her finger slipped and hit her loose tooth and out it came.

Just a bit more noticeable with two teeth gone. She is sure a cutie and loves to put her tongue through the hole. The tooth fairy has sure been busy with Katelyn the last few weeks. I hope the top ones take a bit longer because I'm not sure I'm ready for those ginormous big top teeth that come in on my Katelyn.

**I noticed on the last picture that it looked like her bottom teeth were actually breaking through, so I checked and THEY ARE. That only took 5 days since she lost the second one. I'm a bit surprised. I guess she won't be long without teeth.**

Joy of Summer

Our pool finally opened and the kids have loved going.

Katelyn is no long afraid to get her face wet now that she has some super spiffy goggles.

They are so fun to watch. I love to see the excitement they have on their faces.
