We have a lot happen every year in March. This year it seemed to fly by.
Nate celebrated his big 3-0 birthday. He spent the morning in the temple, opened gifts, went to Benihana, went to Katelyn's first soccer practice, and played volleyball with friends.
Juliette is very efficient getting around the house. She still can't come down the stairs but whines or cries to let me know to come get her if she wants to come down.
100's day at school was in February, but Katelyn just got her project back and we remembered to take a picture of it. Her project was 100 Fingers and Toes In My Family. Katelyn had a lot of fun doing this and had a great time at school on 100's day.
I had a great birthday. My parents anniversary is the same day, so we took the opportunity to surprise them and have a party for them. We played High School Musical Disney Sing It, so we decorated accordingly. We also made our own personal pizzas and had angel food cake, strawberries, and whipped cream. Nate and I went out the next night to celebrate my birthday with some yummy Mexican food (love love love me some chile rellenos) and to see Hunger Games.
Nate's uncle Royce also celebrated a birthday (as well as his Dad and Mom and other shout outs go to Brynlee and Henrik) and we got to see lots of Nate's family. It was so good to see Mandy and Andrew and their two little boys. We miss seeing them so much. Plus I got to hold Becky's new baby which is always so fun.
We really enjoyed General Conference this year. I always come away with so many new goals. I got the idea from Sugardoodle last conference to make bags for each of the apostles and fill them with an activity or snack. When that apostle speaks, they open the bag and do whatever it is. One of the activities was to build Lego temples. The girls love general conference. It makes it much more enjoyable for me when the kids are happy and busy.
