Science Experiment

This was so fun to do with the kids. All you need is dry ice, warm water, and soap. We got the idea from a science guy that was on Ellen today. Seriously. We had a blast.

One and Two and Three and Four

Fridays are easily one of my favorite days of the week. Not only do I get to not go to work, today I was able to be a part of some good exercising. Even Katelyn got really involved. Take a look:

These are pretty good jumping jacks, especially for a three year old and for those that can't tell, the last part is jumping rope.

Autumn Fun

We all had a lot of fun at Hee Haw Farms. There was so much for us to do. Sadie loved all the animals and the swings. Katelyn liked going down the slides and doing everything. They both got to ride a pony which they loved. They also had a pig chase that Katelyn wanted to do. She even touched it which surprised us a lot. We opted out of the corn maze and we're glad we did because we had plenty to do. Plus it was cheaper that way and it probably would not have been all that fun for the kids. It's always fun during autumn to do these kind of activities.

Building

Sadie has been really into building with Legos lately. It has been really fun to watch her. One day she would bring me each block to put them together and the next day she could do it. She seriously sits for 15 minutes straight and puts blocks together.

Halloween Cookies

Katelyn has been begging me all week to make cookies so she could use the cookie cutters. So Thursday we skipped nap and made some cookies. I was really proud of her for actually touching the dough. She is one of those kids that doesn't like to get her hands dirty.

On Friday morning we decorated them. Katelyn helped me mix the frosting with different colors. She was super excited.

Nate made this really cool ghost. It had it's own paranormal phenomena. The frosting made it's own eyes and mouth. I think it looks really cool.

After all the fun now we get to eat them! Gingerbread, frosting, and candy! Yum yum!

Fire station

Katelyn had a fun preschool field trip where we got to go to the Highland fire station. All the kids were being really shy until they could get into the truck. All of them wanted to do that. We learned some great things and got to take home fireman hats and coloring books.
