Happy Father's Day!

Summer is here

Our first week of summer vacation is completed.  We have visited the zoo, started our summer reading program, got well child visits, gone swimming, gone to the park, went to the dentist, splashed at the splash park with friends, and heard mom yell because of some fighting and whining that has occurred.

We love our little girl.  She makes me want to ring her neck daily and laugh until it hurts with the things she says.  Happy Birthday Sadie!

Katelyn's 1st grade school year

Katelyn has had a great school year.  She is so smart.  Her last day her teacher gave all the kids candy awards and she got starbursts because she is a star in all areas.  Here are some things I did not post about through out the school year.

Her school gives out pillar awards that their teachers nominate them for.  She got hers for cooperation at the award assembly in October.

Sadie the Preschool graduate and Ballerina

Sadie’s last day of preschool was on Thursday.  She has done great this year thanks to her wonderful teacher.  She has opened up a lot.  One of the things Miss Lori did was put on programs.  At the beginning of the year they acted out the story of stone soup and for Christmas they did a Santa’s workshop play.  This year they did a St Patrick’s day program and for their end of the year graduation they did nursery rhymes.

Sadie also has been taking ballet classes.  This past Saturday was her recital.

I’m not sure if she will be doing more ballet.  She really wanted to take dance classes and now that this session is over she informed me that she wants to take karate.
