Halloween Cookies

Katelyn has been begging me all week to make cookies so she could use the cookie cutters. So Thursday we skipped nap and made some cookies. I was really proud of her for actually touching the dough. She is one of those kids that doesn't like to get her hands dirty.
On Friday morning we decorated them. Katelyn helped me mix the frosting with different colors. She was super excited.

Nate made this really cool ghost. It had it's own paranormal phenomena. The frosting made it's own eyes and mouth. I think it looks really cool.

After all the fun now we get to eat them! Gingerbread, frosting, and candy! Yum yum!

Mmmm. Those cookies look mighty tasty! The other day Anna told me she didn't like cookies, which I already knew, but still. What kid doesn't like cookies?! Lame. That ghost that Nate frosted is friggin awesome.

Speaking of Nate, today my friend was taking picture for us. Her husband, Nate, was there. We kept telling Anna to look at Nate and she was getting really upset because that wasn't 'her Nate'. It too me a while to realize what she meant. Oh how my daughter loves your family.
